I have a question: I was under the impression that A. Joquel's fanzine [[FMZ Digest]] wasn't a reprint fanzine in the sense that Terry Carr meant it - in other words, A Joquel was reprinting work from the fanzines that were running at the time he was publishing, rather than reprinting older material. | + | You're right about ''FMZ Digest'': Joquel was collecting what he thought to be the best articles published in the fanzines that came out in the 2-3 months prior to each issue of FMZ Digest. So, yes, it was more of a best-of anthology than a reprint fmz in Carr's sense. | ||

I have a question: I was under the impression that A. Joquel's fanzine FMZ Digest wasn't a reprint fanzine in the sense that Terry Carr meant it - in other words, A Joquel was reprinting work from the fanzines that were running at the time he was publishing, rather than reprinting older material. You're right about FMZ Digest: Joquel was collecting what he thought to be the best articles published in the fanzines that came out in the 2-3 months prior to each issue of FMZ Digest. So, yes, it was more of a best-of anthology than a reprint fmz in Carr's sense.
