Thin Ice is a small press literary publication edited by Kathleen Jurgens.

Thin Ice was published in the 1980s and 1990s and was devoted to weird, fantasy and science fiction, poetry, and illustration. At least 15 issues were published, issue 10 appearing in 1991, and issue 14 in 1993.

Covers were by Charles Dougherty (#6), Roger Gerberding (#8), Augie Wiedemann (#10), and H.E. Fassi (#14)

Illustrations were by John Borkowski, Richard Dahlstrom, Jim Dapkus (Bleak December), Larry Dickison, Kevin Duncan, Roger Gerberding, Alan Giana, Randy Moore, Yvonne Navarro, Jeff Osier, Cindy Rako, Donald Schank, Helen Shoenfeld, Marge B. Simon (Star*Line), Timothy Standish, W. Gregory Stewart, Allen Jude Summa, Joseph A. West, Augie Wiedemann, and Russell Yeager.

Poetry was by Robert Baldwin, Michael Bracken, Gary William Crawford, Denise Dumars, Wayne Edwards, Dona Fox, Chad Hensley, Leonard Jansen, Todd Mecklem, Alton Parker, Marthayn Pelegrimas, Jacie Ragan, Mark Rich (The Silent Planet, Treaders of Starlight), Tom Rolls, C.D. Russell, and Martha Speck.

Fiction was by Will Ackerman, Duncan Adams, Lenore Carroll, William D. Cissna, R.A. Conine, Annette S. Crouch, Richard D'Eustachio, Benjamin T. Gibson, Gail Giles, John Grey, Chatles Richard Laing, Lisa Lepovetsky, D.A. Lipton, H. Andrew Lynch, Albert J. Manachino, Raymond Marshall, Gene Matthews, Richard F. McGonegal, Rick McMahan, Doris McMichael, Trip Neisler, Tom Raber, James P. Roberts, Barbara Rosen, Mark C. Sadler, Lucy Taylor, John Villesvik, Bobby Warner, and Kathleen Woodall.

Also included was work by Donald R. Burleson, Cathy Buburuz (Champagne Horror), Deidra Cox, Barbara Johnson-Haddad, and Scott Urban.
