The Notional: interesting stuff about SF in Australia was an science fiction fanzine published in by Leigh Edmonds and Valma Brown.

The Notional, published in Canberra, ACT, Australia, ran from April 1985 to September 1988. Issues from No. 16 have the subtitle: 'All you need to know about SF in Australia'.

Contributors included Damien Broderick. Letters came from George Turner, among others.

Irwin Hirsh writes of the years from 1985 to 1988 in Apparatchik #80, 1997, that, "...Thyme...The Space Wastrel...These, and zines like The Notional, Fuck the Notional and Apocrypha had people talking about fanzines for the first time in years, and a critical mass had developed."

The Notional was nominated for a Ditmar Award for Best Fanzine in 1986.

Leigh Edmonds and Valma Brown also co-edited Rataplan (with Diane Bangsund) and Fuck The Tories (with Judith Hanna, Joseph Nichols, and Terry Hughes).
