The Mean Green Neat-o Zine has been published since 2005 by Cassie Podish from Williamsburg, Virginia. A new issue is published every 2-3 months.

The Mean Green is a music culture zine, focusing mostly on the punk rock genre. Although zine is mainly a music zine, it also aims to promote underground artists and features Poetry, Essays, Artwork, CD/Band Reviews and Movie Reviews.

Submissions are taken for every issue. And mostly everything is accepted. Of course everything submitted must be approved by the editor first.
