The Last Prom was a research zine published out of Los Angeles, California in the early 90's. There were 4 (?) issues with subject matter including "A history of the Drivers' Education Film," which was included in Chip Rowe's Book of Zines and was the impetus behind the underground film "Hell's Highway." Another issue entitled, "Whispers From Space-Part 2," about West Virginia UFO publisher Gray Barker, was also made into a feature film. Other issues were about Southern California TV preacher Dr. Gene Scott and UFO contactee Georgle Van Tassel.

The writer-publisher, Ralph Coon, a reclusive figure in the zine community, is believed to have been a pseudonym used by an unidentified writer for The Los Angeles Times.
