The Chigger Patch of Fandom was a science fiction fandom fanzine edited by Nan Gerding and Bob Farnham (d. December 30, 1965).

Chigger Patch was released in the 1950s in Roseville, Illinois, U.S.A.

Contributors included Garth Bentley, Robert Bloch (Science Fiction Fifty Yearly), Ed Cox (Triton, Altair), Rory Faulkner (Shangri L'Affaires), Eva Firestone (Bronc), Jim Harmon, Bert Hirschhorn (Tyrann), Olive Morgan, Orma McCormick (Starlanes), Noah W. McLeod, Tom Piper, Hal Shapiro (Hallucinations), L.L. Shepherd, Robert R. Wheeler, and the editors.

Cover art was by Glover Prescott, and others. The cover of issue two bears the defiant slogan, alongside the cover drawing in small print on the left side, "WE IRRITATE SOME", and on the right side, "OTHERS IGNORE US".

Letters came from Robert Bloch, Eva Firestone, Tom Piper, Hal Shapiro, and Robert R. Wheeler, among others.

The Chigger Patch of Fandom was a member of "Fanvariety Enterprises", an affiliation of fan publishers put together by Max Keasler and Bill Venable. It included such publications as Max Keasler's Opus, Bill Venable's The Pendulum, Norman Browne's Vanations, Harlan Ellison's Science Fantasy Bulletin, Dave English's Fantasias, Norbert Hirschhorn's Tyrann, Ian MacAuley's Cosmag, Joel Nydahl's Vega, and Starlanes by Nan Gerding and Orma McCormick.

Bob Farnham also published Centaurian.
