The Cambridge Scene was a science fiction fanzine by Larry Stark and Jean Young.
Published in Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A. in the 1960s, two issues of The Cambridge Scene appeared.
Reporting in Focal Point #8, from May 1965, rich brown and Mike McInerney write; "Mythical Cambridge Fandom writing in the person of Paul Williams says that The Cambridge Scene with stuff by Larry Stark, Bill Sarill and Dave English is out and selling. Names like Hitchcock, Vanderwerf, and Williams float around the editorial page. The second issue is dummied and ready to roll as soon as the first sells out."
Contributors were David English (Fantasias) and William Sarill, among others.
Larry Stark and Jean Young had previously published Garage Floor, and Tra-La. They also co-edited Ye Boiffion Boy Birdwatchers' Bugle-Blast with Lee Hoffman and Andy Young in 1957.
With Andy Young, Jean co-edited Vile Deeds At Midnight, and Yobber and, on her own, Jean Young also published the fanzines A Fanzine for Susan Margaret, Gasconade, Lost in the Stars, Roubidoux, Scree, and Sundance.
In the early 1950s, Larry Stark had co-edited the fanzine Potrzebie with Bhob Stewart and publisher Ted White, dedicated to EC Comics, and then Stellar, with Ted White, from 1956 to 1957. In 1958 Stark released A David English Sketchbook, dedicated to the illustrations of David English.
