The Boomerang Press Indie Press The Boomerang Press was founded in 1989 as Street Level Publications, part of Omaha's Hardcore For Christ ministry. The Boomerang Press published Boomerang 1, The Burning, The Non-Retro Neo-Literary Omaha Elitist Review, and Sped Cards, as well as a number of novels and chapbooks. The Boomerang Press is the personal project of zinester, Durand J. Compton.
