The Alchemist was a science fiction fanzine published by Chuck Hanson in Denver, Colorado, U.S.A.

At least four issues of The Alchemist appeared in the late 1930s and early 1940s.

Cover art work was by Hannes Bok.

Written contributions included James Daugherty, Myrtle Douglas, John B. Michel, R. Lowndes, Art Widner, and Harry Warner, Jr..

Also included in the February 1941 issue is "A Visit with Margaret Brundage" by Forrest Ackerman (Voice of the Imagi-Nation); Margaret Brundage was the illustrator of many Weird Tales magazine covers.
