Tabula Rasa was a zine devoted to horror edited by David Carroll and Kyla Ward.

Released in the 1990s, Tabula Rasa was published in Sydney, Australia. The focus of the zine was on horror in literature, painting, television, and film.

The first issue appeared in January 1994, and was subtitled "The Dark Ages". Cover art work was by Rod Williams (Skinned Alive, Skintomb). Calligraphy and border design was by Kyla Ward. Contributors of writing were David Carroll, and Kyla Ward. Issue One also included an interview with Lloyd Kaufman.

Issue Two was released in April 1994, and was subtitled "Hell's Own". The cover and interior art was by Daniel Heald. Contributors of writing were David Carroll, and Kyla Ward. Issue Two featured an interview with Peter Weir.

The third issue was subtitled "Censorship" was was published in July 1994. The cover was by David Carroll. Contributions of writing were by David Carroll, Steve Carter, Kate Orman, Kyla Ward, and Rod Williams. Included was an interview with former Australian censor John Dickie.

Issue Four, subtitled "Sex", was released October 1994. Cover art work was by Antoinette Rydyr. Contributors of writing were David Carroll and Kyla Ward. Issue Four featured interviews with Eddie Campbell and Tanith Lee.

Published in January 1995, Issue Five was subtitled "Mythology". It featured cover art work by Megan Hitchens and interior art work by Jason Towers. Contributors of writing were Leigh Blackmore, David Carroll, Damian Lund, and Kyla Ward. Included was an interview with Stephen Gallagher.

Issue 6 was released April 1995, was was subtitled "Splatterpunk". The cover art work was by Steve Carter. Contributors of writing were David Carroll, Kyla Ward and Rod Williams. This issue's featured interviews were with Stephen Jones and David Schow.

The Seventh, and last issue, was published July 1995, and was subtitled "Classic Monsters". The cover art work was by Jason Towers. Contribotrs of writing were David carroll and Kyla Ward. Featured were interviews with Les Daniels, and Kim Newman.
