suburban gothic is a perzine created by Rae (the angry goth queen), and published in Omaha, Nebraska, U.S.A.

The first issue was released in winter 2003, and there have been six issues with two half-issue suppliments to date. Rae has described suburban gothic as "an artsy cut & paste perzine" covering topics such as mental illness, nostalgia, sexuality and sexual identity, gender identity and gender roles, love, and brokenheartedness. Rae also frequently writes about identification with various pop culture items, and includes quotes from relevant songs, movies, and books.

Issue #4 included artwork by AR of Lovely Ugly Cruel World zine.
