Strap and buckle was a one-off 12-page A5 literary fiction zine created in Ringwood North, Victoria, Australia by John Stevens in November 2001. It represented the final product of a desktop publishing project, as well as being the first zine attributed to that author. Although the title implied a serial nature, there were no subsequent issues.

The short story, told in a blunt and darkly comic manner, follows a non-linear narrative, describing a day in the life of clients and employees at a company that specialises in a form of erotic assisted suicide.
