Since 1973, Spartacus Books is a non-profit, volunteer & collectively run bookstore & resource center that was located right on the edge of Vancouver, BC's Eastside (ol' Spartacus page). Spartacus sold new and used books, zines, comics, magazines, CDs, videos, Tshirts, patches, pins, posters and cards (and more!).

The Spartacus collective hosted shows, workshops, readings and free film nights.

As a community space, Spartacus had couches, workspace and free networked computer terminals (scanner, printer, and CD burner).

The Spartacus collective's focus now is to bring back that wonderful Spartacus community space.
