Songs to fly kites to is a "zine of words & pics inspired by the Baxter '05 Easter convergence and an easy way to support the NSW Refugee Action Coalition".

The zine includes songs composed on the bus ride from Sydney to Port Augusta, location of the Baxter Detention Centre for illegal immigrants, by Miri Jassey, Tara Russell, Char Brinks, Mark Groudkamp and various others; photos from the Baxter05.info newswire; and words 'copyleft' of Margaret Mayhem.
