Sky Ryan

Sky Ryan was a Portland stripper and zine writer, who began an affair with ANSWER Me! co-publisher Jim Goad in 1997. Goad eventually filed a restraining order against Ryan, but their relationship continued until 1998, when he was arrested and served a prison term for beating her. Goad chronicles his relationship with Ryan in his book Shit Magnet. Today Ryan has become a born-again Christian, gotten married and changed her name to Sky Ryan Cross.
