Scram is "dedicated to rooting out the cashews in the bridge mix of unpopular culture. Since 1992 we have chronicled the neglected, the odd, the nifty and the nuts." The zine is published by Kim Cooper from Hollywood, CA. Scram was featured in The Factsheet Five Zine Reader and spawned the anthologies "Bubblegum Music is the Naked Truth" and "Lost in the Grooves: Scram's Capricious Guide to the Music You Missed".

The latest issue, #22, is the beatnik/banker issue. If features folk songstress Vashti Bunyan, Neutral Milk Hotel, bluesman Nick Gravenites, Phil Ochs' collaborator Lincoln Mayorga, and more.
