For each day of the month July, a comic page describes personal and daily stuff happening in the author's life. In the story, Chainsaw Bunny, a stuffed bunny with a chainsaw, plays an important role as well as Nina Zina's friends. The chainsaw happens to be Chainsaw Bunny's favorite tool, whereas the author swears by scissors (and glue, pens and paper). In the second issue of Scissors and Chainsaws there's also a focus on the covid-19 pandemic and lockdown and the global political situation.
