Science*Fiction
Issue 1 January 1946

Science*Fiction was a science fiction fanzine co-published by Larry Shaw, Dan Zissman, and Judy Zissman (later known as Judith Merril).

The first and only issue of Science*Fiction appeared in January 1946. It was published in New York City, New York, U.S.A., and was distributed both by the Fantasy Amateur Press Association and Vanguard Amateur Press Association.

Contributions included writing by Robert Bloch, James Blish (The Planeteer), John B. Michel (The International Observer of Science and Science Fiction, Terrible Tales of Tittering Terror), and "The Hills and the Heights" by Judy Zissman (Judith Merril), an editorial on Hiroshima based on interviews by Judy in New York.

The previous year Judy Zissman had published the first issue of her fanzine Temper!, and Dan and Judy Zissman published the first issue of 2-1-1 in March 1945.

Larry Shaw had previously published the fanzine Leprechaun earlier in the 1940s. In the 1960s he co-published Axe with Noreen Shaw.
