Public Enema was a socio-political perzine from New Orleans.

Public Enema was written by Skot! The first issue was released around 1990. The zine represented Skot!’s obsessions which were: "anti-politics, alternative forms of travel, drugs, musick, good literature, radical history, subversive lifestyles + cultures which go beyond the close-minded limits of Amerika." The 14th issue was released in the summer of 1998 and contained stories about bus trips, survival, cave squatting and an account of New Orleans’ Treme neighbourhood, a theme that Skot! also wrote about in his zine A Gentrification Reader.
