Protest.jpg Protest zine is a anarcho punk and crust punk punk zine from Ireland.

Protest zine was/is written by Sean fitzgerald and various others at the start (Steve,Sly,Peter-2-liter, Gus and many others). Another Cork zine, which at the time were plenty. Around two to four issues were released a year between 1989 and 1996. With interviews, zine and music reviews. Mainly covering D-beat, crust, anarcho bands and labels. Zine came back in 2002 and as a website www.geocities.com/protestzine/ then 2003 saw the release of it in print again, with a much better distribution. There is also a few label releases (Fleas and Lice/Violent Phobia, Stress, compilation benefit for food not bombs) interviews with Discharge, Hellshock and all the usual crust favourites. Stopped in print and now mainly a webzine
