Pixie Girl was a zine created by a girl in Queens, NY with (at the time) undiagnosed panic attacks, who was obsessed with music, and was turned down for an internship at Sassy magazine due to being unable to pay for college right out of high school. It was largely rants, with album reviews and band interviews, with an odd "curse" that every band interviewed for the zine broke up.

Post humus: two issues of "Half-Life". pixie also was a record reviewer (and at the time, the only chick) for "Punk Planet" until someone stole a box of records and CDs when she lived on the Lower East Side before that was prestigious and safe.

Currently: pixie is the singer of a CT punk band,The Midnightmares (http://www.themidnightmares.com) and is still writing online constantly, if not in zine form.
