P.U.N.K. is a zine from San Francisco, California, U.S.A

P.U.N.K. which stood for People Under No King was a music related zine made by Rick Seger/Susan Seger and friends. The publication ran over 10 issues from the early 1990's into the early 2000's often documenting the local underground music scene of the Bay Area. The focuse was on punk and hardcore. Previous to this venture Rick worked on the zine @ State of Mind in San Luis, Obispo, CA, covering punk in the mid 1980's. Both publications where also peppered with commentary, some politics and humor. The zine is largely made up of photos---hundreds in each issue. What also stood out was its format; a full sheet of 8 1/2 x 14" spread gave the visual heavy approach a note worthy effect.
