Obscene Emission is a zine created by Neil Edgar.

Published in the 2000's and focussing on music, Obscene Emission covers such genres as Hardcore punk, Grindcore, Thrash, Death Metal and Black Metal. Bands such as Victim, Amana, Destruction's End and Goatcult are interviewed, as well as the editor of the zine Dismalfuture. The zine also features editorials, and reviews of recordings and zines and a scene report from Sweden by Nicke Sweden. Its created from within the California prison complex and is distributed by Fanorama. Neil Edgar is also the creator of the zine Wiener Society.
