Obscene Emission was a zine created by Neil Edgar.

Published in the 2000's and focusing on music, Obscene Emission covered such genres as Hardcore punk, Grindcore, Thrash, Death Metal and Black Metal. Bands such as Victim, Amana, Destruction's End and Goatcult were interviewed, as well as editor Dan of the zine Dismalfuture. The zine also featured editorials, and reviews of recordings and other zines. Contributors have included Nicke Sweden, who does interviews and scene reports from Sweden, and Natassja of Bitchcraft zine. It was a cut and paste zine created from within the California prison complex and was distributed by Fanorama Society.

Neil Edgar was also the creator of Wiener Society.
