Nina Zina

Nina Zina is a zine maker based in Belgium who runs the zine project Echo Zines. She has published the zines Same heartbeats, Flapper Gathering, Scissors and chainsaws, among others since 2001. She also teaches zine workshops and blogs about zine culture. Some of her zines and illustration work has appeared in the books Feminist Media: Participatory Spaces, Networks and Cultural Citizenship, and Riot Grrrl: Revolution Girl Style Now, and she has contributed to dozens of zines. Her zines are sold by several distros and can be found in zine libraries in Belgium, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, and the US. She regularly participates in zine fests in Europe and has been a guest in a few podcasts about anarcha-feminism, riot grrrl, punk, and politics.
