Mike Tolento is a zinester and comic artist from Santa Barbara, California, U.S.A.

Mike is best know for his comic zine Empty Life which has been published since the 1990's. In an interview he stated, "I draw about topics that interest me: sex, drugs, death, and my own empty life."

He has also released the zine Filthy Shit, as well as a number of one-shot zines, including the spectacularly-named Enlightenment For Only Pennies a Day or Goddamn It, If They Can Put a Monkey in Space, They Can Make a Truly Universal Remote.

He had also contributed his artwork to a number of other zines, and his writing was included in the review zine Amusing Yourself To Death.
