Metasynderyne was started in the summer of 2000 by Ari Perezdiez writing under the name Polly Vomit. Orginally it started out and a half zine half distro catalog for Ari's defunct distro Consumption Whore; but as the years went on and the distro closed it became a more personal, more serious zine.
Metasynderyne has touched upon the issues of alcoholism, depression, teenage drug abuse, paternal death, love, revolution, while including DIY tips and Ari's own personal ways of surviving.
