Margarat Nee received her MFA in Visual Art from UCSD. A longtime community collaborator she co-founded Grrrl zines a go-go, a zine workshop collective, in 2002. She is the author of the zines OYA and Radical Pet. In 2017 she began work on creating an archive of San Diego Punk featuring local zines from the 1970s and 1980s.
