Manifesta was a diy feminist collective (based in leeds, uk) aiming to create supportive and inclusive spaces for the self-expression of people of all genders and sexualities. One of their projects wads to run a distro, distributing zines, music and crafts.

The collective was active from 2002-2009.

The name 'manifesta' was taken from the third wave feminist book 'Manifesta: Young Women, Feminism, and the Future' written by Jennifer Baumgardner and Amy Richards (2000).

The Manifesta Distro went on to become the Jeez Louise distro.
