Lunatic Fringe (or sometimes The Lunatic Fringe Presents…) was an alternative comedy/political comedy fanzine and newsletter published in the early to late 1980s. Early issues were edited by Phillip, later issues by Wonko the Sane. In the late 1980s later issues would appear combined with a Viz style text zine SP*M

The magazine concentrated on the work of the Young Ones team, The Comic Strip, Douglas Adams and Monty Python, but also championed work as disparate as Tom Lehrer, Victoria Wood and the Beano.
