La Frontera was created in 2007 by Melissa W about her experiences living on the United States and Mexican border.
During the time she lived there, Melissa writes about volunteering with the Human Rights organization, No More Deaths (No Mas Muertes.) The 56-page zine is currently distributed by Gigglebot Distro and Microcosm Publishing.
