Jenna Freedman

Jenna Freedman is a zinester and librarian from New York City. She writes the zine, The Lower East Side Librarian Winter Solstice Shout Out and founded the zine collection at the Barnard College Library.

Freedman has been the Coordinator of Reference Services and Zine Librarian at the Barnard College Library since 2002. She is also a founding member of the Zine Librarians Yahoo Group and of Radical Reference.

Freedman was one of the participants in the March 2007 and June 2007 Bluestockings Zine Reading Extravaganza, reading from her zine, The Lower East Side Librarian Winter Solstice Shout Out.

Freedman also initiated and edits the quarterly Zine Reviews column in Library Journal.
