Hard Times is a fanzine published by Amy Beth Yates.

Produced in the 1980's in Jackson Heights, Queens, Hard Times was a punk zine. Bands such as Flipper, Butthole Surfers, Violent Femmes, Meatmen, and Dead Milkmen were covered. The correspondence page is full of letters from people such as Henry Rollins, Tesco Vee, Gerard Cosley and other disgruntled subjects of the Hard Times journalists. Contributors included Ron Gregorio, Michael Produkt, Mike Studinski and others. Also included is short fiction by Russ Forster.
