Flea Beetle is a hard-hitting zine out of Toledo, Ohio. Essays discuss contradictions inherent in states and governments whose support of tobacco growers and corporations belie stated, official health policies. Flea Beetle provides a critical analysis of addiction culture and one-dimensional society, as posed by Herbert Marcuse and other social philosophers. An edgy, anarchist voice against consumerism and the promotion of tobacco in the mass media.
