Fanthology '89 is a 60 page mimeographed fanzine that is a collection of writing and art work published in fanzines in 1989.

Writing comes from Jeanne Gomoll (Janus, Six Shooter), Dave Langford (Ansible), Elise Matthesen, Joseph Nicholas (Vector), Jessica Amanda Salmonson (Windhaven, Fantasy Macabre), Ted White (Stellar), Owen Whiteoak, Madelaine Willis (Hyphen), and Walt Willis (Slant, Hyphen).

Interior art was by Lee Hoffman (Quandry, Science Fiction Five Yearly), Stu Shiffman, Craig Smith, Candi Strecker (Sidney Suppey's Quarterly & Confused Pet Monthly), and Taral Wayne (DNQ).

The cover is by Dan Steffan (Boonfark).

During the 1980s, Andy Hooper also co-edited an issue of Science Fiction Five Yearly ( with Geri Sullivan and Jeff Schalles). He went on to co-publish Apparatchik (with Carl Juarez and Victor Gonzalez) in the 1990s, and Chunga (with Carl Juarez and Randy Byers) in the 2000s and 2010s.
