Durand J. Compton Writer Durand J. Compton is the owner of The Boomerang Press and the main creative force behind Boomerang 1, The Burning and other small press projects centerd around the Omaha underground. Durand J. Compton began small press publishing in the late 80's before moving on to novels. The Boomerang Press is still active, focusing on publishing on demand and indie press ventures.
