Doug Holland published the zine Pathetic Life and founded Zine World: A Reader's Guide to the Underground Press, which he edited until 2000. At one point, he promised to compile the back issues of Pathetic Life into a book. He has since disappeared from the zine community. His last known residence was in San Francisco.
