Define the Meaning is a zine created for fans of hardcore and hardcore-related music (punk, emo, post-hardcore, etc). The goal of Define the Meaning is to present positivity, unity, friendship, togetherness, and all of the other elements that made hardcore flourish in the past. Hardcore is not a genre of music, but a movement...a movement whose vision has been alienated by the success of many bands, promoters, and record companies that have forgotten what it means to be hardcore. This fanzine will be a vessel to share the opinions of bands and fans to provoke thought and conciousness of why hardcore ideals are important to a music community.
