Dark Dreams was a small press publication by David Cowperthwaite and Jeffrey Dempsey.

Subtitled "Macabre and Fantasy Fiction", Dark Dreams was a literary zine devoted to horror, supernatural and weird fiction, and was published in Liverpool, England, in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Issue 3 was co-edited by David Cowperthwaite with guest editor Mark Valentine (Aklo).
