Chanticleer was a science fiction fanzine by Walt Liebscher.

The first two issues featured colorful silk screen covers, and all issues featured creative typed borders done by editor Leiebscher.

Contributors included Al Ashley, Robert Bloch, Burton Crane, Russell Chauvenet Francis T. Laney (The Acolyte, Robert Lowndes, Frank Robinson, Michael Rosenblum (Futurian War Digest), Tigrina (Vice Versa), Bob Tucker (le Zombie), Art Widner (FanFare),and Harry Warner, Jr. (Spaceways, Horizons).
