Celia Perez is a zinester living in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A.

Best known for her zines I Dreamed I Was Assertive and Picaflor, Celia often writes about her experiences as a mother and a Latina. She is a librarian at Harold Washington College. She is the author of the middle grades novels, published by Viking Penguin's Kokila imprint The First Rule of Punk and Strange Birds, as well as Ofrenda, a collection of her zine writings, published by Sweet Candy Distro.
