Cartography for Beginners is a perzine by April Hornbuckle.

With its first issue in April 2000, the zine established April's witty tone and alternative/punk rock musical taste with a story about meeting Robert Smith of the Cure and an interview with Billy Bragg.

Issue 4 was a split zine with Forgotten Albums Best Left Forgotten by April's husband David Hornbuckle. Issue 5 detailed her 2004 road tour following the shows of Morrissey.
