The Brickbat Revue was established in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. as a 13-by-19-inch broadsheet in 2005 by Randall Fleming neé Rev. Randall Tin-Ear and Teka Lark.

Randall Fleming was the publisher of the zine Angry Thoreauan.

Teka Lark is a poet from Inglewood.

While initially the schedule was irregular it is now a quarterly broadsheet, a literary art venue, and a mixed media art journal.
