Bonfire was the official organ of the NFFF.

Harry Warner, Jr., in "All Our Yesterdays", relates the history; "The NFFF had begun in the form of a brief article by Damon Knight - 'Unit or Fie!", wich was printed in Art Widner's FanFare. It picked up interest fairly fast. By the second issue of Bonfire, the organisation has 29 members..."
