According to Partners In Wonder by Eric Lief Davin, "In january, 1946 female fan Jin-E. Daugherty published a feminist science fiction fanzine entitled Black Flames, in honor of Stanley G. Weinbaum's Amazon queen, "Margaret of Urbs."
