Bird's Nest Zine Library is a not-for-profit anarchist zine lending library. Our collection is currently at nearly 700 zines, most of which are political, personal, and music zines. We’re focusing on increasing community awareness, recruiting volunteers and adding more zines to our inventory, particularly local and regional zines. We opened June 26, 2010 and are completely run by volunteers. We are committed to providing zines and zine making resources to our community at no cost.

We have tabled at the Empyrean's Lilac Fair on August 28, 2010 and have presented at the Zine Librarian's Conference in Portland, Oregon. We held our first free zine making workshop in July 2010 and look forward to holding more community zine making and storytelling classes. Bird's Nest Zine Library is open 2-6 pm every Thursday and 1-5 pm every Friday on the third floor of the Community Building at 35 W Main in downtown Spokane, Washington. We are also open by appointment.

Bird's Nest Zine Library is a not-for-profit zine library located in Spokane, Washington, U.S.A.

The Bird's Nest collection includes zines, comics, chapbooks and some indie press magazines. Bird's Nest Zine Library functions as a cooperative community and is completely run by volunteers, who are committed to providing zines and zine making resources to the community at no cost.
