Ayun Halliday publishes the zine The East Village Inky, a lighthearted, humorous take on motherhood. She has also written several books in a similar style. Before relocating to New York, she was a member of the Chicago theatre group the Neo-Futurists.

Ayun Halliday , and her zine, is featured in the book DIY: The Rise Of Lo-Fi Culture by Amy Spencer.
