Ayun Halliday is a zinester living in New York City, New York, U.S.A. Originally from Indiana, Halliday often refers to herself in print as a Hoos-Yorker.

Ayun Halliday publishes the zine The East Village Inky, a lighthearted, humorous take on motherhood. She has also written a couple of other zines and several books in a similar style. Before relocating to New York, she was a member of the Chicago theatre group the Neo-Futurists.

Currently, Halliday is working on The Zinesters' Guide to NYC, to be published by Microcosm in July,2010. NYC zinesters wishing to contribute drawings or NYC listings should contact her at ayun (at) ayunhalliday.com.

Ayun Halliday was one of the participants in the June 10, 2007 Bluestockings Zine Reading Extravaganza, reading from The East Village Inky. Also, Ayun and her zine are featured in the book DIY: The Rise Of Lo-Fi Culture by Amy Spencer.
