Asha Anderson is a poet and sometimes publisher currently living in Nevada, U.S.A.

Opinionated and outspoken, Asha was a very active participant in the ongoing battles and discussions in alt.zines before it imploded and blogs and discussion boards became the fashion. At that time, she also wrote and published the zine Reddog Review but indefinitely suspending the title in 2003. She was the driving force behind the creation of Ash Canyon Review and the website for the Ash Canyon Poets, a long standing critique group in Carson City, Nevada. However, due to clashing personalities and conflicts of opinion, this publication was discontinued after only two issues. Their website is also defunct. She also launched a zine and website called Driftwork with an anything goes format more to her liking. The first (and last) issue came out in the summer of 2006.

In the '70s Asha was assistant editor and writer for the Brijbasi Spirit, the journal for a yoga community in which she was then residing. She and the rest of the press group left abruptly when the society's political climate became life threatening. Following that, she founded SkyRiver Press, a letterpress operation. These days SkyRiver Press is digital although currently she is more interested in submitting her work to outside publications. Her poetry has appeared in various journals, zines, and newspapers over the years. She resides in Nevada but spends about half the year traveling.
