Applicant is a humorous yet somewhat disturbing one-shot zine compiled from student files found in a dumpster and assembled by Jesse Reklaw. The zine format includes pictures of students and then quotes from a PhD program concerning what faculty members had to say about each student.
Originally produced as a photocopied zine in 1998, Applicant was later issued in paperback by Microcosm Publishing in 2006 (ISBN 0-9770557-6-0).
